If you are getting booted off the site after a certain time, try "checking" the "Remember Me" box right under the User Name on the log in screen. I've searched through the Admin features and can't find any way to edit the auto log off feature but I know checking the Remember Me box on other sites that I visit stops me from getting logged off automatically after a certain time limit.
